Try the Sockshop, under the heading selfcare they have unelasticated socks which I have bought in TKMaxx and they have been very comfortable.

I buy boys ankle socks from either Tesco or M&S. The Tesco ones don’t have tight elastic and fit my size 3 feet well

I bought some seamless socks from Amazon which are very comfortable, the elastic isn't too tight, might be worth a look?

You could try Cozyfeet. I don’t know what their sizing is like though.

Can't help I am afraid.

I have trouble with socks too - I am always getting infected big toe nails and I know part of the problem is my socks pulling tight. I pull the socks out at the toe, but as I put my shoes on they pull tight onto my big toes and the problem continues.

I have smallish feet (4) but not small legs! Now I have vein problems too. I cannot get socks that are small enough for my feet but not too tight round my ankles. The only brand I can find makes socks for size 4 to 7 which are too long, flap around my toes or the heel ends up half way up my calf.
Any gransnetters know of a good brand?
