We currently have Tempur pillows as we like good support but both DH and I feel that they are not quite right.

What would anyone recommend?

I have feather and down, DH has JL microfibres. He ruins them with his hot head so they are replaced regularly.
Maybe try different ones out, one at a time and see how you get on.

Doesn't your head go right through a feather and down one j52?

DH has Tempur, I have an M and S medium polyfibre. Both sons have complained about the admittedly budget pillows on the spare beds which are new and they hadn't been staying for over 18 months. They are for occasional use for heaven's sake. So DH now interfering and saying I should spend shedloads on pillows for the precious two.

I have feather and down but have a silk pillowcase on top. It has one side silk and one cotton so it doesn’t slide about. Keeps me much cooler than standard pillowcases. oH has the cheapest flattest pillow he can find. ?‍♀️

Soak and Sleep ‘Soft as Down’ microfibre pillows - enveloped in a silk pillow case from Likysilk ensures a good night’s rest for me. To paraphrase Goldilocks, not too hard, not too soft but just right ?

Kitty ? no the thickness of the filling keeps my head up. They require a good plump every morning, but so comfortable.
I get a sore neck with man made materials.

Same here with feather and down. Wouldn’t have any thing else.

Tell the sons to ‘bring their own’ lillypollen.

I use an Octaspring pillow which came free with a mattress topper. It feels like a brick but is amazingly supportive and comfortable. They come in chunky or flatter depth. No more stiff neck or sore ears.

My favourite pillow is a Dunlopillo latex type, but they have stopped making them now.

Have bought so many different types, but they never seem to be right. I always thought it was just me.
