Lunch is our main meal. Today I made a risotto with king oyster mushrooms, walnuts and Swiss chard. It was delicious.
We try to have a vegetable based meal two or three times a week

I settled for a couple of sourdough crispbreads, feta, tomato and a few olives - and about to have a macchiato and 2 Biscoff.

Aldi smoked salmon on a slice of wholemeal bread, rocket and tomato salad with beetroot pickled in chilli vinegar. Followed by a tasteless plum.

Just finished smoked mackerel with a green salad, yogurt to follow and elderflower cordial while we’re on the wagon.

I usually have home made soup, either lentil, made with ham ribs, or chicken and rice, made with chicken thighs.

However, I felt like a change today so I have just enjoyed bacon and eggs, with a glass of water and an Activia Gut Health fig yoghurt... other yoghurts are available!

More like an all day breakfast ?

Tomatoes from greenhouse and Tuna.

Spanish Tapas, bits and pieces of tasty morsels! although not too much for me as I try and diet Monday to Friday, but sometimes break the diet midway Friday, after all life's for living grin

I pretty much have the same lunch every day.

Four Ryvita with one slice of Lierdammer light cheese and a yogurt. A glass of water as well.

This has helped me to lose about half a stone in the past few months.

We just grab our own so don't have to think about it. I do evening meal (home made chicken curry tonight with naan and popadums ( or is it papadums ? ) I remember a wise saying that I'm sticking to
" I married you for better or worse but not for lunch !" smile

I'm awaiting the Ocado delivery and stocks are a bit low - just having a root around the almost empty fridge and boring freezer contents.
