You can get nice flowers that go through the letterbox from Bloom & Wild. I often use them and also receive them.

I've sent those too and they are really nice Germanshepherdsmum !

I am thinking along the lines of comfort food/chocolates as I think they will bring more cheer to the person in question. But I cannot find any decent letter box chocolates online. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place? Hotel Chocolate seem to do a box that might be letter box sized, but their website is super unhelpful.

Yes O&U, Hotel Chocolate do letter box sized boxes.
We used to receive them quite regularly and they fit through our letterbox, which is quite small.

Nortsat that's awesome to know. Can you confirm which size is the letterbox size please? I can't find the info on their website.

Do you think this one would be letter box sized? www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/christmas-sleekster.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiAqvaNBhDLARIsAH1Pq52QNQnts3cifkRL2rj7KRFY_caeDSoN51xKdD0XGwpYySedzZA52scaAssjEALw_wcB

Just popping back O&U to confirm that it was that size of box, which we used to get.
I understand the box was designed to ensure it would fit through most letterboxes.

We had to stop having them in the end because they were too lovely.

A perfect get well gift imho. ?

Nortsat thanks so much I ordered those! grin

I wish I ordered us some as well! Thanks ! A lovely gift!

Oh, go back O&U and order a box for yourselves.

I think the last year has taught us that life is too short …

Healthspan do vitamins and minerals in very attractive letterbox boxes. They are top quality. You could send some Vitamin C, Zinc or Echinacea.

That's a wonderful idea Chestnut how thoughtful! Thanks!

My friend sent me a fantastic little Christmas tree with decorations through the Bloom & Wild letterbox scheme.

OnwardandUpward Mon 20-Dec-21 16:25:52

How wonderful about the Christmas tree! I looked at those and they are fab!

All such wonderful ideas! I just used some letterbox gifts as Christmas gifts too. I found a site that did flat bottles of wine! grin www.prezzybox.com/letterbox-spanish-red-wine.aspx?glcountry=GB&gclid=Cj0KCQiA8ICOBhDmARIsAEGI6o2-yl72Oef6owTobPJXYSX_ZjQFb5eZ1I7VUeefpT8xmlJ6IsUKmHAaAl18EALw_wcB

I didn't send that for the get well gift, but sent it with chocolate as a Christmas gift to a relative.

I love these letterbox gifts. With so many parcels going missing these days, they are a fail safe way to bring a smile, aren't they!
