As a teenager, which singers/actors did you really fancy, even fantasise about? For me it was -
Davy Jones (Monkees)
Peter Frampton (Thunderclap Newman)
David Cassidy
David Essex
Peter Noon (Herman’s Hermits)
Sasha Distel

Oh, how my imagination ran wild when I thought of, in particular, Davy Jones. And I was only about 13/14 at the time!

American cowboys, American cops, always. Hetty, nobody? Really? Ah dreams! Where would we be without them? They add colour and sparkle to our (let's face it!) ordinary lives. When my dog was alive I used to walk him down to the park on the river next to my old school. Looking up from there I could see my old classroom, flagpole outside with (maybe) a descendant of the river gull I used to look out at as I dreamed thirteen year old dreams of Rowdy Yates and Detective Hawk (Burt Reynolds before he made films). It's amazing I passed any exams at all I wasted so much time dreaming!

Was totally devoted to:

George Harrison
Barry Gibb

Was there a cowboy tv programme called Bronco in the early 60s? I was about 5 but I think I fancied the lead actor!

Martin Shaw (still do, still would).
John Lennon.
Patrick Stewart. Too old to be fanciable now.

Oh yes, Martin Shaw for me too. I used to fancy Rufus Sewell and have known people who've met him and like him. But probably a little too small for me! James Nesbitt seems fun.
The trouble with actors is that you cannot really have much idea of what they are actually like as they're always playing a part imagined and written by somebody else.

Robert Fuller who played Jess Harper in Laramie. I recently googled his pictures and still got all fluttery. Gorgeous.

Thank you! I couldn't remember his name until you mentioned it but he was definitely my first crush before I really knew what a crush was. Oooo.

On the other hand, my first slightly Ruude dream (as in I was asleep and not conjuring him up) was Leslie Crowther.....

Merrill Osmond of the Osmonds.
I was worried when i first met him in 2012 as they always say "don't meet your heroes or you'll be disappointed" I'm so glad I didn't take notice as he's absolutely gorgeous. Greets me by my name and gives the best hugs!
