Anyone been outside yet|?

Finally stopped raining so I took the dog out for another walk whilst DH watched Match of the Day. It’s quite spooky at this time of night.

Cold, windy, grey but still dry at the moment. Just got back from a longish walk to get my steps in before I spend the rest of the day sitting and knitting.

Cold, raining, windy and grey. Not the four words I like to see in a sentence describing how the day is.
At least it’s Sunday and I will be going - nowhere.

Cold, wet and windy! Just been out with the dog whilst the rain stopped being horizontal. She’s quite happy to be out in the rain now, but hates wearing a coat. I’m less happy, and grateful for my bright yellow waterproof. I might put the heating on when we get back, or work up a sweat cleaning the muddy paw marks up again!

Just going out for the papers. Windy, cold and raining heavily. DH will light the fire when we get back and get a good blaze going .

It's very gloomy - heavy rain and wind forecast for later so I'm off out with a friend at 08.30 for a brisk one-hour walk, then buy the paper and hunker down for the rest of the day

It looked promising here in Devon when I was out first thing this morning, blue skies, but now it is dull and cold.
I love Peter Jones Riverwalk especially the view from the Top Floor restaurant. I had a friend who worked in the furniture section.

I had a walk at 9am in the country park It was freezing and the ground was slippery in places. Not great to fall with a sore hip so headed home.

I went out at 10 and it was very bright & sunny - at around 3C it was a bit nippy in the shade.

I had a fruitless trot around M&S and Peter Jones looking for jeans/trousers then a quick whizz around Waitrose for a few odds and sods.

Yes beautiful out though cold. Walked to the dentist ( 20mins) and then back. Sit down now and attempt to drink my coffee.

Had a very slow walk over our heath (bad hips). Saw a fox dashing to hide and a Robin.

Cold and very windy. Good news-the wind blew the dog and me all the way back up our very long hill. Debating whether to hang out the washing.

Partner came back from work this morning and said that it is chilly and wet outside so my day off I think will be inside catching up on emails etc and doing knitting. I am on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border

I'm still in my dressing gown, about to have a second coffee, and will never get out at this rate - no excuse as the rain has unexpectedly gone off and a weak sun has made its appearance.

Not yet, it is still dark, but the wind, rain and the boiling sound of the sea woke me up. We are in SW Wales.

Where are you Espee? not middle England for sure.
It has got warmer here throughout the day so now 9 degrees, but it is windy again and clouds are dark and threatening.

Hi Tilly, It’s a small quiet island in the Caribbean. Perhaps not very quiet as the sea is crashing onto the reef right now and the birds are making a racket. The chicken now has 5 chicks running behind her and the iguana is chasing them.
