Need a pair of white plimsolls to wear with my summer dresses but the ones I’ve tried are hard and uncomfortable. Can anyone recommend a soft and comfy brand please?

Thanks for all the great ideas everyone. Lots of great options to try - off to the shops tomorrow.

Ecco 2.0 get my vote too. Breathable, comfortable and very long wearing.

Another Converse fan here!

I've got Skechers and Fitflops. Both leather and really comfortable and supportive.

They're pretty.

I picked these up in Asda yesterday. I know they aren't leather and will probably be a bit sweaty in the heat, but I couldn't resist them! They seem really comfortable (I have quite a wide foot) £12.50! Can you tell I'm a thrifty Yorkshire lass. grin

I like hotter, they are pricey but had mine for 3 years now. I always buy in the sale.

I got white canvas ones from Tesco for £13.

We used to call these pumps. You only ever wore white ones when you were playing tennis ?

Next have a really good selection in white & floral colours they come in half sizes which is good, they are slip on's with elastic bit for ease of comfort.I bought a pair 2 yrs ago and have just bought a floral pair for my holidays £19. Machine washable so all good for me.

They can even be patterned. I bought these nearly 10 years ago in Convent Garden. I've never worn them, but someone gave me an idea this morning on the Jubilee thread for something red -ish.

They do not have to be white….. silver is good …or any colour (except black ?)

It’s been going a while ! I remember wearing trainers with that Zara dress pre pandemic !

I wondered if the trend would be over soon. I haven't got any white plimsoles and nearly bought some yesterday to wear with summer dresses if the sun ever comes out here in the North west. Perhaps I'll stick with sandals.

Baggs

I find Groundies very comfortable. They aren't cheap but they'll last longer than cheapos.

I looked at them, they seem really good. I usually wear Sketchers, but may give these a try.

Mine are Superga.

I got some from Next that are comfy.

aquagran Sat 28-May-22 21:09:45

Got some on Amazon, £6:99. Don’t spend too much they will be out of fashion soon!

I have had trouble finding wide fitting white plimsolls on line. I have just bought some from Simplybe. They are comfy although not with memory foam insoles.

grannyrebel7 Sat 28-May-22 21:08:20

I have KSwiss - love them smile

St. Ives Lunar leather plimsolls. Really comfy and they even survived a splash in the sea.
