When my BIL, now aged 87, was a baby, my MIL told me that in order to fill him, they put his milk in one of those tall sterilised milk bottles and put a teat on it!

Unfortunately cakes and doughnuts are my grandson’s great love and he eats them by the half dozen. I am so envious! He is slim and wiry, has tremendous energy and weighs only 55 kilos which isn’t much considering he is 5 foot 10.

Thank you Mammasmile.

Its a good job Whiff or you'd end up eating it all yourselfhmm.

My late husband could eat what he liked and never put an ounce on. My son in law is exactly the same he's 6'5" and slim. My grandson's polish of loads but they are never still so run it off. They have 3 course breakfasts they are 4.5 and nearly 2. One look at at a cake and I put a pound on ?. But glad to say all my family love my cooking.

I am so sorry to hear that you are estranged from your son, sending hugs ?

Used too Mamma. Years ago we went out for a meal and our youngest son who we are now sadly estranged from who was into body building, asked if he could have two steaks. He became known as '2 steaks ..' and Mr. S. and I still laugh at the memory. He got them and ate the lot.

My eldest grandson is a lovely boy (not biased obvs). He is almost fifteen and is still pleasant smile we are hoping that he continues to be the smashing lad he has always been. Came round today and polished off a substantial cooked breakfast. After wrapping himself round that I suspected he was still hungry. Four bacon sandwiches later… ? He is, of course as thin as a lat. He is known as ‘two dinners’ in the family. Anyone else got an eating machine?
