OK so who has Snow, and where are you?

When putting out much needed bird food (I got a Wagtail in the garden today), don't forget water too!

We're quite used to snow here, DonnaB5859, but can't compete with you! Welcome if you're new to GN.

It got up to -5.7º yesterday, but today it managed -1.7, so getting tropical!

There are some impressive pictures from some of you in the deep south. Normally it seems that it is only in films that there is a lot of snow in London and area, but you do seem to be having it now. Good luck. ☃️

Gabrielle, oh well we’re softie southerners down here and to be honest snow is a rarity and its arrival always throws us, so it becomes a big news item.

Lancashire. We had our first snowfall last Friday/Saturday but NOBODY mentioned snow on new until it landed in........The south east....yaaaaaaw!

I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We are 2,415 KM from Victoria, British Columbia on the West Coast and 4,781 KM from St Johns, Newfoundland on the East Coast.

Wigan a couple of inches here laste a couple of days . Nice for dog walking .

Loads of snow in Gloucester. Very pretty. The whole area has ground to a halt!

No snow here in central Angus but freezing all day. I fed the poor birds 3 times.
Temperature to be below freezing again tomorrow but sunny, so hopefully no snow as I’m driving to a Christmas get together and lunch for a Quilt group

10 inches of snow in Hertfordshire ☃️

No snow here in Aberdeen but it is and has been very cold all day. -14 a few miles out of the city.

North Essex is below freezing with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. Lovely and too cold for snow....is that really true?

Haha! That used to drive me mad. As a child I was always hoping for snow and my father would just say, too cold for snow. I think he was probably right but it did infuriate me!

It's really not true. I'm speaking as someone who lives in central Sweden and have had snow in minus 30C

However where there might be a nugget of truth is that colder nights are often clear nights (like last night's minus 17C) so there is no snow on a clear night. However it has snowed all day in minus 7C

No snow here on the Lincolnshire Wolds but very foggy, just took the dogs for a walk in Noth Willingham Woods and its looking very pretty.

None here, south Hampshire, 0 at the moment.

South Stockport just a thin dusting of snow but heavy frost. Everything looks beautiful.

South of Denmark. It snowed last week, no more snow since, but it has lain since and we have had between -7 and -2 for over a week now. More snow broadcast for this afternoon - it is now 5 pm CET but no snow yet.

Unfortunately, we are supposed to be back to + 8 and rain next week!
