After perusing the fridge/freezer and cupboards I'm uninspired - what are you having?

62Granny Wed 18-Jan-23 19:37:31

Beef casserole & dumplings, it was yummy and have a small portion left for lunch tomorrow, no dumplings though as I only made 2 each. I made in the Ninja, on the pressure cook setting.

Toad in the hole with onion gravy and veg. Fruit for pudding.

DH made his pan of chicken soup with matzo balls. I made a pan of hot and sour soup and fried some prawn crackers. So it’s big bowls of soup for two days.

Cheese soufflé and tomato and onion salad.

Auntieflo Wed 18-Jan-23 19:19:54

Left over beef goulash, spinach rice, and carrots for DH followed by a slice of lemon drizzle cake.
I had a small jacket potato with butter and a tiny bit of goats cheese. Followed by tinned rice pudding. My appetite is shot these days.

Some left over roast pork with roast parsnips, sprouts & apple sauce, followed by a meringue nest, fresh raspberries & Greek yoghurt.

anyone who fed me would be fine but it looks like it's M&S for now

Joseanne Wed 18-Jan-23 19:07:18

Italian neighbours who fed me would be fine by me.

Riverwalk Wed 18-Jan-23 19:03:33

Lucky you - wish I had Sri Lankan neighbours who wanted to feed me!

bluebird243 Wed 18-Jan-23 19:02:54

Cheese and potato pie with mushrooms, red pepper, onions and sprouts!
I used everything that needed to be eaten up in the fridge in one go.

Charleygirl5 Wed 18-Jan-23 19:00:37

I have Sri Lankan neighbours who think I need to be fed so a carrier bag with containers of chicken curry, rice, lentils and something else I do not recognise. Enough for tomorrow evening also. Their food is amazing.

JaneJudge Wed 18-Jan-23 18:53:51

it has been a busy day so we are having chicken kievs and chips from the freezer plus salad

Callistemon21 Wed 18-Jan-23 18:50:50

Not sure but it smells good! Mr C is busy in the kitchen.

Sausage, mash, onion gravy, some kind of veg?

Ooh, dinner is served! 😀

Jaxjacky Wed 18-Jan-23 18:48:37

Chicken sausages, mash and baked beans, MrJ is cooking.

Riverwalk Wed 18-Jan-23 18:32:54

I had a roasted vegetable (peppers, red onion, garlic, aubergine 🍆🌶️🧅from the freezer) frittata, and about to have a mini Magnum.
