Kids music in the car

I'm looking after the GC (2 and 4) and have to unexpectedly make a two hour journey. I want some music to keep them entertained on the way. Our car doesn't have a CD player (obsolete tech?) I can connect my phone to the car audio system and we have an Amazon Music subscription. Does anyone know how I go about finding good kids' music and maybe creating a playlist?

Go on to the amazon music app and search for kids music...loads on there! Keeps my two busy in the car then sends them to sleep.

Highly recommend Nick Cope. We have his CD's in our car for GCn - they are now teenagers but we still have to have the CD's when we are on long journeys! They keep us amused too.

I'm with lixy- Nick Cope is your man. My favourite is " the baby's done a poo" - so that will give you an idea of what to expect! Also, consider songs from children's films. We sing along to " you've got a friend in me " from Toy Story 1.

The Baby's Done a Poo is a favourite in our family too, belted out with gusto!
My personal favourites are 'The Forest' (and the dragon's name is Keith) and The Pirate's Breakfast.

Film songs are a great idea.

I can't stand those nursery rhyme sing-a-longs though!

My DGs loved Tubular Bells and several songs from Les Mis.

Thanks all - certainly checking out Nick Cope! Still not quite sure on the technicalities - can I get CBeebies on my phone??

sorry, can't help with technical things on a phone. If it's wifi enabled then google nick Cope and lots of you tube options come up. I'd avoid the 'sing along' versions, stick with just Nick singing. Good luck!
