How often do you wash your hair?

Totally depends on what I'm doing and where I am going. My hair looks best when newly washed but it also takes me the best part of an hour to wash and style it so I leave it as long as possible between washes. Generally I can get away with 4-5 days but when it was short and layer cut I used to wash it every other day. I wear a riding hat 3-4 times a week and in hot weather it really messes up my hair so then I'm forced to wash it more frequently. I am finding longer hair is easier to keep looking nice between washes.

Every other day usually, but because I am on a water meter, I tend to leave it till the third. I have thick greasy hair - I really should be washing it every day, but it’s the cost 😫

I’m almost 66 and am lucky to have a head of thick hair (I have a chin-length bob with a fringe.) But I HATE the process of washing, drying and styling; it takes me the best part of an hour. I’ve started leaving 4 days between washes as it doesn’t seem dirty but I know frequent washing is the norm these days. When I was young I only washed it once a week! How often do you wash your hair?
