Advice in travel cot

It is very light and stable and best of all it folds down easily.

I bought it second hand for £50.

That’s quite an expensive one Fair at least to buy new.
Have a look on Amazon or Argos websites Pianokey where prices start around £40.
Mine was inexpensive, in fact the mattress was almost as much as the cot, but it’s easy to fold down into its box and erects by just snapping the corners into place. Simple when you get the hang of it, should you want to store it away between uses.

The only issue I have with the travel cot I've used for both grandsons, is that the mattress was very thin. I bought an additional mattress to put on top.

I did the same - a cot mattress from John Lewis. Maybe it was all right for a very small baby, but not as they got bigger.

I've just bought one today, for our 3 month old grandchild who is staying with us for one night this week. CUGGI travel cot, £35 in Argos.

We bought a cot bed which saw the gc through til they were 8 or. 9. Only downside was it did not collapse so sat in the bedroom fir all those years.

My travel cot is a Cuggi.

I also have a Mamas & Papas cot bed (sides off) which DGS1 is almost too big for, although he loves it. That will do for DGS2 now, so I’ll donate the travel cot and DGS1 will go into a proper single bed.

Whatever you decide, please buy a new mattress.

We took something similar on holiday with us to various destinations for DGS!

I found the Cuggi folds down well to go back into its box for travelling or storage.
I did need a YouTube to remind me how to erect it again, as there’s a bit of a knack.

We have a Cuggi too. It goes into its' storage/carry bag without trouble as long as I remember to do things in the right order. I think it was £40 or new from Argos last year.

GD2 sleeps well in it.
My only word of caution is that it's quite tricky to reach down so low with a sleeping baby in your arms. GD usually just mumbles a bit about the crash landing and goes back to sleep. Just something to consider if you have a dodgy back in any way.
