I hadn't signed up to them so didn't receive one but could you email GNHQ and ask?

Yes, Bella, I received the newsletter headed “You lot had me in fits of laughter”. I think it was bona fide - couldn’t see any reason to think otherwise 🙂

Thanks for replying Delila, it makes me feel much better As I said because no one else had mentioned it I thought it might be a scam.I had never signed up for the Newsletter and this was the only one I have ever received. Thanks again I can relax.

That’s good - I think it was a roundup of posts from throughout the year, and I imagine lots of people received it.

If you click on the email address it was sent from you will see if it’s from gransnet or from a gobbledegook address
Just don’t open it but most scam goes straight into the bin anyway y your provider

I've been on GN since 2019 and never had an email like that. Did it say it was from GNHQ if it didn't then it was a scam. But like others have said email GNHQ.
If you go onto desktop scroll to the bottom and it says contact us click on that . You wil get a confirmation email saying they received it. Then someone will get back to you.

I don't usually bother reading the daily email. I've just checked my trash and found the one in the OP.
It's a genuine GN roundup. It's just one of the year instead of the day as usual.

I don’t get newsletters, too much junk mail.

I had never signed up for the Newsletter and this was the only one I have ever received.

Well I’m signed up for the newsletter and this might be the only one I’ve not received. I’ve checked all my mailboxes, including spam and deleted. Feeling a bit peeved.

I did get a round up from Mumsnet though on the same day.

I did get that newsletter. The first one I've had in 5 years.

Many thanks to all who helped me get a good night's sleep with their reassurance, and telling me how to check.
Now I can go back and read it properly and see that I must be the sites clown or dope whichever way you look at it. I can hear my DDs when I tell them"Oh Mother, your panicking and showing your age again".
