Traditional Advent Calendars

I apologise for mentioning anything C****** related so early but I have a real urge to get ahead this year.

There was a lovely gift shop in town where I used to buy lovely old fashioned Advent Calendars for the DGC but, very sadly, it has closed down. Can any one suggest where I can look now?

Their parent's buy chocolate ones etc but we like to get them glittery snowy village scenes. DH and I also like to have a biggish one in the kitchen.

If you are a member of EH or NT their gifts shops often have very classy ones, though expensive. Look on-line too.
I would suggest going round the charity shops too.

Amazon have plenty.

They certainly do. I love the traditional calenders.

Also Closet and Botts. They have beautiful calenders. I've just received an order of minature advent cards from there. Very nice stuff.

If a local church sells charity Christmas cards, they may well have them - our does, but the ‘shop’ doesn’t open until at least mid October.
John Lewis usually has a good selection, or else I’d just try Google/amazon.

I really like the trad ones, too, and usually buy one each for the Gdcs - as well as one for myself! I never had one as a child so I’m making up for it!

This sort of thing, Kittylester?
For all things Christian, actually.
Same day postage, extremely good service and highly recommended!

Thank you for all your help.

I found some on a site called Daisy Park. So I bought ones for the Cchildren and the Milan Cathedral one for us. We have it every year.

There is a fabulous independent bookshop too next door (or maybe next door but one)...
They have lovely ones too.
😍

Oh Not Spaghetti , I love the medici shop.
I visit whenever we go to the museums.

Etsy the only place I buy my grandsons advent calendars from. I don't buy them chocolate ones. But read the description carefully as some are advent cards and not full sized advent calendars.

Who are EH & NT, please?
