Comfortable winter footwear.

Are your Skechers boots 'relaxed fit' ? I only ever wear their footwear, and find this wider fit is perfect for my bunions. They tend to have a deeper and wider toe box.

I used Compeed Bunion Plasters and found they gave me great relief from the pain.

Have a look at Widerfit shoes. They have a deep, wide toe box.

I have these, instantly comfortable, wide and supportive.

I bought a pair of Seibel boots last winter and they fit one foot perfectly but really hurt my other foot! Something about the stitching in the side really rubs my poor little toe. Am fed up!

Try a Compeed plaster (they do a suitable range) on your little toe until the shoe becomes more comfortable. Compeed relieve pressure. I've found them an enormous help.

The problem is with the construction of shoes and boots. Where my bunionette is, is usually where there is a piece of stronger leather and stitching. In this area there is no give. My favourite shoes which are as comfortable as can be are my fabric sketchers which are no good for winter weather.
It isn't my little toe that's the problem, but the first joint on the side of my foot.

The Sole Bliss range as worn by Queen Camilla, Dame Judi Dench, Joanna Lumley etc specialise in wide fit footwear and those with bunions. Expensive but worth it if it means comfort.

The first joint on my foot is similar to yours Minimoon. Inflamed, swollen and very painful. But the Compeed plasters have been wonderful in keeping the pressure
off.

I have just bought another pair of Josef Seibel.Neele shoes. My very first pair lasted 15 years,…I still wear them in the garden. New ones, incredibly comfortable. Love them

I have several pairs of Josef Seibel shoes and they're lovely. It's just the stitching on the dratted boot. I'd like to snip it but daren't.

I recently bought a pair of Hotter ankle boots that are supremely comfortable. I was a bit wary, since I’ve previously had Hotter boots that weren’t comfortable and ended up at the charity shop.
I have ‘smart’ boots so just wanted some for walking to the shops, along the riverside etc. , comfortable, but not obviously old-lady-ish IYKWIM. I live in M&S ‘cosy’ jeggings in winter so these go very well.

They are Murmur ankle boots, mine are in walnut colour. I ordered the wider (not the widest) fitting since my right foot is wider than the left.
Zips both sides for easy on and off, also perfect.

I also have a bunion, which makes buying shoes difficult. During the summer, I wore canvas shoes which were very comfortable. During the winter I put padding on the bunion and wear padded shoes. The 'Hotter' brand suits me.

Sketches suede ones are good. Not leather
