I know this is a very small problem in the grand scheme of things but I have been using products recommended by a well known hairdressers for quite a long time. The shampoo & conditioner were perfect, making my hair really manageable. It is not available now and I am struggling to replace it. The products I have tried just make my hair so soft and I can't do anything with it. Can anyone recommend a shampoo and conditioner that gives body to hair and makes it manageable. I don't mean everyday products that you can buy in supermarkets but hairdresser products.

I don't usually reply to haircare questions because I know nothing but my DD is a professional stylist so I asked her, for you: She recommends you try Euphora Bodifying Shampoo, Euphora Bodifying Conditioner and Euphora Pure Polish for styling.

She says if you are trying to style it then use Euphora Sculpting Styling Glaze to "give it more grip" and if you are curling or blow drying, use the Euphora Style Tame Spray before and after you curl.

And if your hair is too soft, use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner to absorb more oils, such as Eufora Volume Volumizing Shampoo or anything you like.

(She only uses products that are highly rated on the Think Dirty app - an app which evaluates the ingredients and toxicity levels of all hair care products.)

Best of luck !

Thank you, that's kind of you. I shall try them! I've been thinking about the volumising ones so that is the answer.

What was the name of your product?

Label M by Toni & Guy, bought from hairdressers but when I changed to having a hairdresser coming to the house, I was buying it off Amazon. There is still such a thing as Label M but it's in a redesigned bottle and costs a lot more than I want to pay. I've tried various ones but they just leave my hair soft with no body.

Oh thanks marg75, never heard of that product. My hair was coming out with stress, I tried Joico k-pak, I have to say 6 months later it feels a lot thicker & stronger 😊

Thanks Mt61, I'll have a look into that. I've been using Label M for so long that I just think it'll have to be trial and error til I settle on something.
