Clothes shopping

I buy M&S online, Cotton Traders, LandsEnd, and more recently Chums.
Don’t like shopping in actual shops, too hot, crowded, and can never find what I want.

I buy mainly from Hobbs and Kettlewell but buy trousers from Robell online. I tend to buy knitwear and tops from Bella di Notte although I did buy 2 pairs of trousers from them before Christmas. Similar to Robell but a bit cheaper.

If you live in North Yorkshire, Bella di Notte have a shop in Malton.
Otherwise shop with them online. Free delivery, free returns. Excellent customer service. Good quality ladies clothes in a range of prices.
I buy from them and also from most of the suppliers mentioned already.
There's Fat Face too. It's the only clothes shop left in our small Oxfordshire town.

Along similar lines to some of the above:

Boden and Kettlewell for colours
Barbour/Crew for the country/sailing look
M & S
Trying Joe Brown's currently, but not convinced
Saint James in France and French market stalls

Mostly Charity shops- can't remember when I last bought something new to wear, probably a year ago for a funeral.

Just thought of Crew too and Joules.

John Lewis (has many makes under their banner including their own), Crew who have beautifully finished dresses and tops. M&S, who seem to be improving.

Most of my clothes are years old. I loathe clothes shopping.

I live in jeans and sweaters in the winter, shorts and tee shirts in the summer.

One or two decent dresses for (rare) outings and funerals.

Since retiring, I’m usually at home, swimming pool, quick grocery shop round town….

Don’t want or need much else in the way of stuff to wear. And what I do have never seems to wear out or look too shabby.

Seasalt, White Stuff, M&S,the occasional independent “boutique” but being honest, a lot online

I was just going to say the same but also to add Kettlewell - though their prices have gone a bit bonkers lately.

I wish we had Dunnes in England, I always head straight there when in Ireland.

A memory popped up on Facebook yesterday from eleven years ago. I realised that I was wearing the same jumper! I think that Covid didn't help my shopping and now my back is playing up so I am a bit limited to online shopping.

We do have a TK Maxx near us but I really can't be bothered to wade through everything. Even when it was newly opened the sizes were not in any sort of order.

Most of my clothes came from M&S. I said 'came' as they're not very recent but last well.
Other outfits came from White Stuff last year.

I'm 64 this year, have shopped in Next mainly for most of my life. I tend to live in black jeans and tops.
Have some fancier dresses for special days/nights out.

Yesterday DH had day off, popped into Next, I thought I'd been transported back to 1970s where they had chosen the worst of the clothes available then.

Only other shops in small centre were Primark, Vogue, DV8, TK Maxx, Dunnes. All seemed to offer same type of clothing

Where do ladies 60+ go for everyday clothing now? I'm sure I'm wearing same clothes I've had for years
