I've just had a look and I think this loophole applies in Scotland too. I'm no expert, so I could be wrong. (I hope I am).

Actually, I think you may well be correct about that loophole - and it's high time that was stopped too.

I have no interest in influencers and had never heard of her.

A few days "community service" with crocodiles would have been appropriate imo.

It is illegal here in Scotland. To be honest, I thought there were similar laws in England and Wales too.

Just despicable. How anyone can take pleasure in the tormenting and killing of wild animals is beyond me.

Horrendously I witnessed a wild red stag being killed by the hunt in Devon last week. Twenty or more, so say civilized, people out for a jolly. Dressed up to the nines in tweeds and red coats, blowing horns and tearing along with baying hounds. They pursued the magnificent creature to exhaustion and then shot it. This in full view of many horrified folk out for a quiet walk on a public footpath.

This goes on quite legally ever week in the UK.

I had the misfortune to witness something similar a number of years ago and it literally made me physically ill.

I simply can't understand the mindset of this violent and cowardly act.

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised. We often assume that because Americans speak a version of English, that they share our values. They absolutely don't. A society that tolerates their levels of gun violence, racism, poverty and exclusion is no different to one that tolerates abusing animals for amusement.

I was worried in case the Mum could smell human scent on her baby and abandon it. I sincerely hope not.

Hopefully her idiotic 'career' is over but there will some cretins with the same mindset who will find it just as amusing as her and her cameraman did.

I agree that the woman invlved should try to separate a baby crocodile from its mother and see what the reaction is then - I believe Australia has saltwater crocodiles which are rather unfriendly, what about one of these?

I was disgusted when I saw the video of this and I am glad that she has been called out on it.
