Desperate for attention or simply unkind.
Or both!
I’m glad she felt obliged to leave Australia, but I wonder if her new posts are all about the unkindness of people who can’t take a joke.

I have just seen the footage (This Morning whilst having a latte)

What a stupid woman 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I am convinced that some people are just so addicted to posting on instagram and TikTok that they lose all common sense.

If I say how I am feeling right now my comment would be deleted.
Surely people are punished by the law for acts of cruelty against animals, certainly that is the case here.
T hi us woman deserves a custodial sentence.🤬🤬

Squiffy

Claremont When I saw the video I worried that the wombat mum would get run over trying to get to her joey

That was exactly what went through my mind. 🤬🤬🤬

Yes, that worried me too.

Vile woman.

The video was shown on the news, she was thoroughly enjoying her miserable self and the person filming her was laughing too so I hope he's being deported as well.

Even the PM became involved - as Mr Albanese said, why doesn't she try taking a baby crocodile from its mother and see what happens.

Without wishing to condemn a whole section of the world, I think a lot of Americans have a very different attitude towards animals than we do. When I am on animal forums, it is noticeable that they are far more likely to use adverse methods of behavioural correction.

And? Yes, they still declaw cats and mutilate dogs' ears and tails. Barbaric.

But certainly does not excuse taking a baby from the mother is the wild for a stupid video stunt to make money. NO!

She’s left Australia now and we are all cheering. We never want the stupid woman back.

Oh for heaven's sake, I was so upset when I read about this, interfering with nature and the ensuing distress felt by the mother and baby. Dreadful woman shock

ViceVersa Fri 14-Mar-25 11:02:03

Yes, that is very true.

What a disgusting human 🤬🤬

Sago Fri 14-Mar-25 10:46:25

A narcissist who will do anything for attention.
I hope her social media “career” is over.

spottybook Fri 14-Mar-25 10:45:37

What a complete Airhead!

Claremont Fri 14-Mar-25 10:44:03

A total b*tch! I hope her Visa gets cancelled. When I saw the video I worried that the wombat mum would get run over trying to get to her joey.

What is wrong with (some) people!

What a despicable woman. I want to say more but I would be banned.

Yes, me too. Hope they do deport her.

A “stupid, callous person” is exactly the kind of person who would thoughtlessly and selfishly do this!

OhOhOh Fri 14-Mar-25 10:33:15

Classic red neck?

All over the news last night the attention seeking Samantha Strable posted, now removed, videos of her laughing as she takes a baby wombat from its mum causing both great distress and then leaves it in the road. She has now fled Australia. How can someone be so crass insensitive and stupid? She has a bad record as well including killing a deer with a knife in New Zealand and other hunting sprees in her home US.
