Another recommendation for Snag.

I buy M&S ones in a really large size. I too have huge thighs. I wish they’d made Snag tights years ago because I could never find tights that fitted me before. I can’t stand lace anywhere on knickers either.

The ones that are like men’s boxer shorts they don’t cut into the thigh.
I like these type no VPL either and they do them in Primark Next Tesco etc

Stepone bamboo seam free are the most comfy ever. Pricey but worth it

M&S no VPL pants are comfortable on my large thighs, especially the 'period' pants worn in case of 'oops' moments, which have no stitching at all around the legs. I sometimes go up a size but no need with these.

Snag do knickers for all sizes including larger ones, all their underwear is extremely comfortable.

Bella di Notte may have what you're looking for. They have an excellent range, although more expensive than M and S. Have a look online at belladinotte.com

My thighs are large too

Can you sew? Knickers are so easy to make. My favourites are by kwik sew. It is an old pattern, there are very many knicker sewing patterns and instructions on youtube, you can use any pretty stretchy cotton fabric and trim with stretchy lace

If you have even minimum sewing ability, you can make the legs wider ie a size bigger and then just grade to your waist size

A nice loose zig zag for sewing stretchy lace and not stretching as you sew and you would achieve the result you want

Very generous of you Parsley3 😁

I have some M&S ones that have no elastic in the legs. They might do the trick for you.

I am having a problem getting comfortable knickers. I have large thighs and all the ones I can find have seem to be the sort with elastic round the leg that cuts in. I have three wonderful pairs where the leg end is just as stretchy as the rest of the garment but they are wearing out. Any recommendations? The ones I have are from a little old lady shop with dusty window displays but even they now only have the ones with tight legs. Help!
