Meghan Markle twerking

Why is anyone obsessed enough to constantly occupy their time raging against the social media posts of someone who has zero impact on their lives ie raging about others' posts on social media?

Not just on this thread but on others, too?

Personally I think BlessedArt speaks a lot of common sense.
Some of the posts regarding Megan & Harry could be written a group of lemmings!
Ps Not sure what the common noun is for a group of lemmings? 🤔

Diana was involved with the institution of the royal family long enough to need a few lifetimes of reprieve from it. I’d have lost my mind with all the insufferable pomp within a year .

A silly social media post on par with billions of other silly posts made by billions of other people. Nothing new, unusual, or exciting. To care so strongly about it argues against a healthy emotional state. My reactions on this forum aren’t different than if I were in person encountering someone voicing wild, unfounded conspiracy theories about celebrity pregnancies, spilling hatred, so yes I am dismissive of the reactions to the SM post. Non-story with non-sensical hype and attention. If the criticism is she seeks attention, the joke is on the criticizer giving it to her.

Prince Charles, as he was then, found Princess Diana dancing on stage with Wayne Sleep extremely embarrassing.

It was the height of good taste compared to Meghan’s twerking.

They’re just an embarrassment now. The video is trashy. She has zero class.

Hate is such a strong word. I can't think of a single person I hate, perhaps dislike, but hate? Never! I think people toss the word around like others do 'amazing' when everything they see and do is 'amazing'. Let's keep a sense of proportion about this.

It isn't hatred, it is disgust at two talentless, workshy yet immensely entitled people who complain endlessly about press intrusion yet seek every chance they can to promote themselves in front of any media available. The royal family, like every other family, suffer occasional discord but do not air it in public, and certainly do not attempt to make money out of it.

Annie B: I would leave out the "pathetic". In my view just "vulgar and crude". That alone should remove her from any entitlement to association with our monarchy.
