Just watched a video of Megan Markle, heavily pregnant & about to get ready to give birth, twerking. Thought she was amazing, radiant, bags of energy, especially when she managed to get low down to twerk. Oh then Harry joined in, such fun they were having.

woodenspoon Thu 05-Jun-25 17:32:15

I’m very curious ilovedogs22. Whenever there is a thread about Meghan and Harry you always pop up and defend them. It would be interesting to know why you do. Do you know them personally?

Pregnant women can’t bend like that,I was a midwife, everything about her is fake.

Really Ladyripple???????🤔

Yes really! I still have records of all my deliveries,I was a midwife in the British Army for many years. Not one of the mothers could have bent like the Meghan Markle woman. That my dear is a fake bump, along with her lightened skin, false hair, teeth, boobs etc.

I cannot stand her.You must lead a sad life if this kind of behaviour keeps you entertained,it’s pathetic.

I will now hide this thread, stop me from seeing what fools post.

I’ve just looked at the video to see what so many are talking about. It couldn’t be more vulgar and embarrassing. Just awful.

Why on earth release this??? Sad sad sad.

It's fun, fun, fun Oldbat1. Try it, you'll feel so much better, it's just dancing, not the Devil's work! Have you seen the film Footloose?
If Megan had walzed elegantly around the room in full Victorian dress wearing a chastity-belt she would have still been criticised.
H&M have been horribly victimised, right from the very beginning. Most unfair! 🤔

I loved the pictures of Harry & Megan dancing in order to help the baby move-along a bit, joyous & lovely.
We dance like twits at our home, twerking doesn't have to be sexy,
it can be daft & silly, just as Megan & Harry's clearly was.
Stop demonising this young family, go and have a twerky dance, it might calm you haters down a little
Anyway I'm off to twerk to a song by Mabel. Byeee 👈👉👆🖕🤘✋

Are you going to give us the links where you've posted the videos of said dancing and twerking on social media for the world to watch? Or perhaps you keep these silly but happy activities within the privacy of family and friends?

Calendargirl Thu 05-Jun-25 17:47:17

I think Doria is a secret GN reader, and keeps defending H&M against all the negative comments.

I wonder what her username is?

🤔

Once again for a couple who proclaimed their need for privacy this seems very public. Most families enjoy silly fun things including daft dancing in the right setting, most also don't post videos of it for the world and his wife to view. They need to decide which they want, world wide attention or privacy, posting intimate videos on social media is hardly conducive to the latter.

The use of “haters” by the Sussex devotees for anyone who dislikes what this couple do. I dislike them, they lied and cause
hurt with their lies

Yes, and who can be bothered to hate them. You can be bored with them or dislike their behaviour, but fans referring to them as haters, just adds another layer of untruth to the whole story.

Boz Thu 05-Jun-25 18:24:22

I have read that this is a money-making exercise; 22 million views so far, and counting. Each view earns them money. They will do anything for money.

merlotgran Thu 05-Jun-25 18:34:57

I don’t doubt that the video is genuine. Meghan has been a devotee of the benefits of yoga for many years so will be very bendy with good balance. She’s also a good dancer.
I do think the video should have been for their eyes only though (including close friends and family) but what the heck. It’s in the public domain so decorum is out the window.

They knew what the reaction would be. They are probably rubbing their hands in glee at all the attention but then they are grade A hypocrites so that’s to be expected.

Bring on the next instalment, Meghan. You’re on a roll now and we’re just warming up! 🤣🤣

Agree ,they are strangers to the truth, they cause hurt, are money grabbers. Who can admire H for saying in a tv interview that out of his family was the most in danger of
being attacked, the only member of the family who came near
him in a risk assessment was the late Queen, even she wasn’t
in the most danger. M ,what is so amusing, such fun, such
happiness that she wants to be filmed in a hospital delivery room waiting the birth of her child, and she had pre eclampsia
too, a 39 year old woman !

Shelflife Thu 05-Jun-25 18:49:20

Continues to discredit his family, yet retains his title and accepted the titles of Prince and Princess for his children, although I acknowledge their titles are their birthright. I am really sorry this has happened, Harry was such a favourite with the public !
I wish Harry and Meghan well but wish they would simply get on with their lives and stop bleating on about injustice! Harry seems very damaged he lost his mother when he was very young and I fully understand the trauma that was for him - but ........
Losing a parent happens to many children including my precious GC.
I feel so sad that his children are being denied access to their paternal family! Such a mess !!?

Tess46 Thu 05-Jun-25 18:56:29

Harry has a reputation of being a bit of a dim bulb so I’m pretty sure he hasn’t worked out what’s going on! After the private education and all the extra attention he would have been given at school he had to retake a year. Had he been in state schooling he would have probably been 21 before he was up to leaveing. He left the services because he wasn’t up to being promoted and he couldn’t stay at the same rank forever being a royal! So nothing he does is surprising. As for his wife, her intelligence is I expect on the high side. I’m sure if she told him to jump out the upstairs window, he would ask from which floor! They are a pair of comedians but being in love with themselves quite unable to realise.

This comment doesn't seem terribly fair. Harry served the country for 10 years.

He went as far as he could though. The Army couldn’t promote him above other more worthy candidates. His poor academic record held him back.

He also couldn’t remain as a junior officer. That would also have been an embarrassment.

dalrymple23 Thu 05-Jun-25 20:22:49

I have absolutely no idea what "twerking" means. Should I?
I only saw the still which someone posted. To me it looked vulgar and common - hardly regal.

As for that hair all over the place snapshot . what was that all about? Pointless. As someone said, just to keep in the public eye without giving anything away. Do those children not go to school?

I still cannot forgive them for Christening their daughter using Her Majesty's family name. I gather that HM was not best pleased, either. What springs to mind is "How dare they".

He passed the Sandhurst entrance, undertook two tours to Afghanistan and qualified as a helicopter commander.

Isn't that enough?

Anniebach Thu 05-Jun-25 20:47:00

Andrew served 22 years in the Royal.Navy, Prince Phillip about
14 years , he had to leave in 1952 because of the death of George 6, they both were high ranking

Lathyrus3 Thu 05-Jun-25 20:47:18

Actually he passed the Board assessments, not the exams. The need for the requisite 72 UCAS point was waived.

merlotgran Thu 05-Jun-25 20:52:45

Enough for what exactly? Being promoted above his capabilities?

An Apache helicopter commander might sound impressive but it means he had to remain as a co-pilot/gunner as he failed to qualify as a pilot.

Do you really think he would have continue to enjoy his army career, which he loved, if he’d been left behind in a junior role? He was a royal after all.

woodenspoon Thu 05-Jun-25 20:59:46

Did he love his army career? It certainly has given him plaudits that he may not deserve. It’s said he was kept well away from the front line, in a bunker, guarded by Gurkhas. He did not serve 10 consecutive years in the army. All of this information is easily available on the internet. He did not qualify to fly a helicopter. His brother did and does. He was allowed into Sandhurst because of who he was, not what he was capable of, and to counteract all the bad publicity he was getting at that time for his behaviour and more.

ExDancer Thu 05-Jun-25 21:00:04

The OP has not posted about Harry's army career, if you want to comment on this you should start your own thread.
Twerking is a vulgar 'dance' that involves sticking your bottom out and wriggling it in a sexual manner very quickly. Common and vulgar.

woodenspoon Thu 05-Jun-25 21:02:25

You are quite right but the conversation diverted into his army career from other posters.

merlotgran Thu 05-Jun-25 21:07:36

Threads often meander. Just like conversations in real life.
