Forgotten tribes fashion

I mostly buy my clothes from charity shops. I like the idea that it isn't 'fashion' and there is always that thrill of a real bargain!

Also it is cheap, good for the planet and also contibutes to charities.

So, win win for all!

I asked them online where they are produced but they haven’t answered !!! So probably China

What's ethical about having good shipped great distances by plane/shipping or finally by road?

Sometimes you have to balance these things out.

This is the problem. I have emailed the company to ask where the garments are manufactured. I don't like companies to claim to be ethical and yet they source the stock from sweatshops.

It’s hard to tell sometimes where things are made, you may buy them from a London company but they will likely be shipped there from India or China.

I have bought several items from them over the past few years and have always been very satisfied. I love their harem pants as they are comfortable, well made and haven't faded after washing. I have never paid more than £3.99 for postage (in the UK). Delivery was also very quick.

Sadly the leg length would be too short for me as the designs are all based on someone 5’6 to 5’7.

Haha I ve now got my fb page covered in Forgottentribe adverts 🤣🤣🤣

AmberGran Fri 27-Jun-25 18:58:22

Haha - I've just noticed I made the shipping even more expensive - £399 grin

BlueBelle Fri 27-Jun-25 18:55:40

It’s hard isn’t it, maybe buy a cheaper item to start with it appears you get 10% of first order
The reviews can be made up for sure but it does looks pretty good company using sustainable materials even down to packaging
I would say worth a try

Parsley3 Fri 27-Jun-25 18:23:54

Thanks BlueBelle It says £3.99 standard delivery with Royal Mail but I saw the £10 at the end of the reviews. It's difficult to trust an unknown site as the reviews can be spurious as well.

BlueBelle Fri 27-Jun-25 18:21:44

At the bottom of the reviews I have copied Ambergran

AmberGran Fri 27-Jun-25 18:20:58

One thing that might be a problem is all returns have to go back via the Post Office so if you can't get to one you can't return. You do get a returns label though so it doesn't sound like you pay for it - but only one per order.

BlueBelle Fri 27-Jun-25 18:19:14

And there’s more 😀

Where did you get £10 from ??? On the website it says £399 Royal Mail tracked of £6.50 for priority (for UK shipping).

As far as I can see at the moment they appear to be British company based in London (Deptford). But websites can be misleading...

BlueBelle Fri 27-Jun-25 18:13:16

Whoops posted too soon £10 postage sounds extreme that would put me straight off

Has anyone bought anything from this company? It sounds ethical but I can't find out where the garments are manufactured.
