Hi, New gran here (baby girl 5 months), and want to purchase a 360 car seat with a detachable isofix base . The integrated ones are so heavy to lift in and out of the car. I have searched but they all seem to have built in bases.
Be very grateful for ideas.
Thankyou

I think somewhere like Halfords might help?
Just wondering why you have to lift it in and out? Is your car a 2 seater?
Mine stays in permanently.

I would also recommend Halfords. You will get advice and they will fit the seat for you.

don`t want to keep in the car permanently....just to put in when we need to, as often have passengers in the back or if need to put the back seats down for tip runs and for bulky items etc...thanks

This is the car seat and base my son and daughter-in-law have: one seat and two bases, one in each of their cars.

They're very impressed with them and the swivel facility makes it less back breaking and really easy to use.

I’m a bit out of tune with these now as my GC are no longer babies…….i would take advice from pp and get along to Halfords, they do at least know what they’re talking about and what will fit your particular car and suit your needs. Just talk to them.

Try John Lewis they have a display to show you how it all works, as they can be fiddly to put in, the 360 is great for getting a small baby in your car. It's when they get bigger...
We are the now "proud" owners of x4 sizes of Baby /Child seats. As they grown you have to change them to fit the growing child. Thank goodness the Isofix base fits all sizes as they are not cheap.
I have now got GC's aging from 12 months to 8years, car seats are in and out of our cars all the time.

You also can get "booster" seats which are direct isofix so we now have x2 of them in our collection , they are much easier to set up and store.

thanks... we were given the older model of this, but it was an integrated base and sooo heavy, but the actual seat part was really good.

We have used this one since our DGD was a baby and she is now 5 - it extends to fit them up to (I think) around 8 yrs.https://www.mamasandpapas.com/collections/maxi-cosi-car-seats/products/maxi-cosi-onyx-car-seat-522947700
