How about a gold pot with a beautiful gold coloured plant in? Or gold flowering

David Austin have some aptly names roses if that’s appropriate.

I would go for a garden voucher or an afternoon tea voucher if not into gardening. Roses are a lovely gift but maybe they wouldn’t have room for one. My garden is so crammed now !!

The golden rose plant is a really good idea. It should flower year after year reminding your friend of her Golden Wedding Anniversary.

For friends we’ve made up a hamper with a gold tea pot ( coffee carafe would be an alternative), gold bead coasters, Yorkshire gold tea bags, McVitites gold biscuits, two gold hanging heats and a gold coloured box of handmade chocolates.
Other things will go in, if and when I see them.
They have a large collection of wines, so no wine, but a bottle of something could be added.
