I've always found Timpsons staff to be helpful and they do sell ferrules so I'm sure they'd happily replace yours.

Hi everyone, peanut butter rubbed in to chewing gum will dissolve it. Then it can be washed away. This works with chewing gum stuck in hair too

Not that I like chewing gum, so if we do go there I shan't be taking any with me 😀

It is no longer banned in Singapore and hasn’t been for many years.

It's bad outside hospitals, where there used to be heaps of cigarette ends, pavements are now covered in gum.

Yes, freezing will remove it.

Time the government banned this horrible stuff. Or gave out hefty fines to people who choose to spit it out.
Our towns new pavements are covered with it.

Rub it with an ice cube until frozen, then pick off.

WD40 gets it off mats but might work for you

Will the ferrule come off easily? If so put it in the freezer & then the chewing gum should easily peel off.
