We have a DeLonghi with a big holding container for the beans, and it grinds beans every time you select 1 or 2 expressos or americanos- no pods, no waste, and grounds go straight onto garden or compost when container full. Have had it for many years and will get exactly the same when it does fail

Thanks so much.
How long does it take to descale? As that is the problem I am having with my old one which keeps showing only the two descaler buttons

takes about 20 mins and we do it about every month or two. Never had any issue. We change the filter once a year.

This is a great blog/site for people who love coffee. Here he is talking about coffee machines... (he also talks about bean to cup, grinders etc).
I was only looking at this yesterday.
