Rent one of those gorgeous National Trust properties overlooking the sea at Port Quin and then it doesn’t matter what the weather is doing! Just gaze at the amazing view. I’m desperate to stay there but they don’t allow dogs. I think most of our holidays in Cornwall consisted of sitting in the car in the rain with two kids and one or two dogs but it was warm wet. Before the kids went to school and then after they’d left home we always found that the best weather was when the school holidays were over.
