I know I'm a bit thick at times but I only recently found out that was using the U shape ones incorrectly - I always put them round my neck onto my shoulders, which of course pushes your head forward so I thought they were really uncomfortable. Apparently the correct way to use them is under your chin and onto your shoulders, so it keeps your head back but it can rest on the sides. I've thrown a number of them out because I thought they were useless 🤷♀️Never tried the wrap ones but I might give them a try.
Good to know, I have been wearing mine the wrong way round 😅

Try Turtl, available from Amazon and elsewhere. A scarf with a firm insert fitting between neck and shoulder to stop head drooping. It’s a painful crick in the neck that soon wakes me from a doze if I don’t use anything, now I get a better sleep. It’s very comfortable, my son and wife in Australia have bought them now
Honestly, it was more comfy than the usual U-shaped ones for me, especially when trying to lean forward a bit. Doesn’t take up much space either, which is nice. Might be worth testing before your flight if you can.
