Sorry for the delay in responding, sophie232, Beechnut and Oreo.

I went away for a few days and forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️. Thank you for your suggestions, I booked a hotel restaurant at The Close, the menu looks nice plus they do a reasonable set price lunch. It looks lovely and quite big so if the weather is poor, we could move into the bar to linger over coffee. If it’s nice we’ll get out and walk and sightsee. Thank you for the suggestions.

I really like The Tetbury Pantry on Long Street. Great sandwiches, relaxed atmosphere, decent prices. Might suit your group.

Also to the Blue Zucchini for coffee and a snack.

Not for a long time but I’ve been to the Priory a couple of times and also had lunch and afternoon tea at Highgrove.

Where did you choose? I have been there but couldn’t remember where we had lunch. It was in the same road as the Highgrove shop.

Hello all. Can anybody recommend a nice place for lunch in Tetbury please? I don’t know the area at all though I have driven through it and thought how lovely it looks. I’ve looked on Trip advisor and there’s a few listed, but if anybody could recommend somewhere, it would be really helpful. It looks like an expensive place and I’m booking for a small group of friends (5) so don’t want to get it badly wrong. We don’t normally meet at expensive hotels, we’re happy with chains if the food is good, or a nice cafe but as it’s a small place we might have to go a bit more ‘upmarket’. Thank you in anticipation for any suggestions.
