Thank you so much, that's kind. At the moment it's one thing after another. I know really it's not as so many people suffer . It's selfish of me.

You're not selfish. If you are like me then as I have got older even simple problems seem like trying to climb a mountain and that's stressful.
I hope you get it sorted out and find some time for you both to relax.

I’m suffering from terrible health anxiety at the moment and amongst other things ( Jason Stephensons relaxation tapes on utube) I used some Rescue Remedy yesterday and it really helped. I’ve always got some in the cupboard but forget to use it! Other than putting four drops on your tongue you can also add it to a glass of water and sip it.

Thank you all. The support is so appreciated. I feel I'm going mad xx

dollydaydream you are not selfish . I am going through one thing after another since January and don't consider myself selfish . Things happen to us and even if you are in perfect health things can get on top of you.

My health has been driving me nuts since January. But I just get on things . My speech is effected so everytime I speak to someone especially on the phone have to explain my speech can get stuttery or slurry or I can go silence as I am trying to get the words out . It's worse as I am a chatterbox or as my brother calls it verbal diarrhoea 🤣.

Do not call yourself selfish or let anyone call you that . GN is here for us to talk about what we like . Yes there are horrible people appear here but they are soon gotten rid of .

Talk about what is bothering you. You are not alone. 🌹

It’s not selfish of you, we all have times when problems with paperwork can overwhelm us. It can feel as though you’re banging your head against a brick wall.

I did see your previous thread, it was about the winter fuel allowance and your DH getting a letter for the whole amount instead of you both getting a letter and half each and previous problems with DWP, glad you have sorted that out.

dollydaydream68 Thu 13-Nov-25 14:42:21

Don't know how to do that!!

I have no idea which thread you are refering to.

Perhaps a link to it would be useful?

Thank you so much all the lovely grans who have given me advice re DWP, etc. it's really helpful.
Right now I feel so stressed with it all. Ridiculous I know, it's only minor inconvenience.
I'm getting in a tizz about renewing my driving licence now, in light of the hassle with wrong post codes etc.
I'm waiting for it to be rejected although seemed to go through ok on line so far.
Sorry for the rant , my poor DH. I think I'm going slowly mad xx
