How do you know that Purple pixie? We all marry for love but things alter for some, it doesn't mean it wasn't there initially. Loving someone is very different to being in love though. Loved my first but in love with second.
There are many things i haven't done but the one I regret, only one, is not going to live abroad for four months as I had planned.

I don't agree we all marry for love. Lots of other reasons including being swept up in wedding arrangements and feeling unable to cancel.

Actually, it was called a libety bodice because it was made of flannel and was not stiffened in any way, thus giving the wearer a sense of freedom which was most definitely not a feature of the boned, pleated and cross-hatched corsets grown women wore when little girls were suddenly allowed liberty bodices instead of boned and tightly laced "stays".

We've have always owned an iron and I have used one, albeit not for about 20 years.
