My daughter in law made a super pie basically spinach with an unusual pastry. I am very deaf and did not hear what she called the pastry, but I guess it had potato in it.
The pie filling was basically spinach and a lot of herbs and spices. Truly truly umami. She4 sad she would make it again for me.
Anyone else here who knows the secrets of meat free umami?
