Electric blanket with additional foot panel

I didn’t have as bad a problem as you but I did used to have freezing cold feet when I was a child, so cold that I sometimes cried. Then I remembered that when I was little and stayed with my Nana, she used to provide me with fluffy bedsocks made with angora wool. I bought some online (I was only able to find ordinary wool, not angora) and they have made a huge difference.
Would you be able to find lightweight gloves for your poor hands, maybe, as well?

That’s a very good idea re the woollen socks.
I will source a pair tomorrow.
My hands are always like blocks of ice but in bed I stick them between the covers of my hot water bottle so keep warm that way.

You can buy fur lined big socks to pull on for walking round the house and use then for bed instead.

Also, you cant used water bottles, but you can use those gel microwave ones, so then you can have an electric blanket, mine is one you can sleep on all night.

A heated throw across the bottom of the bed would be cosy for your feet and can be left on all night , plus good quality gloves from an outdoor clothing company. You can get thin gloves suitable for arctic conditions.

I have a small electric heating pad that can be set at low, medium, or high heat and on a timer, that I use for my feet only. As long as it isn't anywhere near your hot water bottles it would be fine in your bed. I find it very useful for when i need a boost of extra heat. Good luck! Link below.

My friend has some fine cashmere gloves to wear in bed.
She has a similar problem and appreciates them. She has been using them for years.

I’m with the heated pads or cushions, I have a heated cushion and we also have electric blankets on bed

My Mum used to knit bed socks for our sons when they were little. Now I am in my eighties my feet do get cold and I can’t sleep if my feet are cold so I have bed socks which I bought from M and S.

I recommend 2 large fluffy cats and a small dog in bed with you.

The question is - do they stay at your feet? I have a family member that shares her bed with her 3 dogs and they flipping take over the whole bed!
