Car seat for weak hands

I have arthritic hands and I’m looking for a car seat for 18month old grandson with the easiest clip possible. I’m obviously aware that they need to be child proof but the ones I’ve tried are impossible for me to use as they are so stiff. Alternatively, if anyone knows of a gadget to help with this problem I’d be grateful.

I would pop along to Halfords, they have a large range of car seats for all age groups and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, goes luck

The general advice on here to do with anything to do with car seats, is to go to Halfords I think.

Is it just me who is concerned about a grandmother with arthritic hands being responsible for an 18 month old?

No Allira. You are not alone with that thought.

Another concern here for a GM with arthritic hands caring for what is probably an active 18 month old

All children are different! My 18 mth GS was a complete doddle to actually look after..... but some of those car seat are tricky to use.
You definitley need a swivel one thoough

I’d be more worried about a granny with arthritic knees or hips tbh!
