Off the back of comments on an Easter thread about Kennedy's Chocolates, I've bought 2 as presents for special birthdays which have arrived today. I was taken back by the size of the boxes (9 x 7 inches) because with 24 chocolates in each I was expecting bigger boxes so they don't look like much of a present although I'm hoping that the taste does come up to the recommendations. My initial thought was that they've sent the wrong size but on the back of the wrapping the label lists the 24 chocolates chosen. I'm curious as to how big the chocolates actually are compared to other brands so would be grateful for comments from GNs who have bought these please. I'm reluctant to open one of them to check as they have been wrapped up really lovely and even with bows which I'd never be able to replicate..

I wrote in the recent thread on chocolates about an English chocolate maker being sold to a continental firm and the subsequent drop in quality can’t for the life of me remember the name and no longer got the box. Will ask husband in the morning to see if he can remember. However just looked up Kennedy According to net still a British company. Who knows. You could always open one box and force yourself to try them

I have often bought chocolate from Kennedy’s, the chocolates are made at the factory in Orton near Penrith and are delicious. The factory shop is fabulous and we like to call in when we are passing that way.

Thank you for all your replies but as I still have no idea on the actual size of the chocolates I will now have to open one box to check and just know I'll end up doing a quality check as well 😅.
