Dishwasher.

I always make my tea in a teapot. I’m currently staying at my son’s for a few days. They don’t have a teapot and make their tea by dunking a tea bag in the mug.

I never have stained tea mugs at home but I’ve noticed it happening here. I think a teapot is the answer 🫖

Denture tablets are supposed to do the trick, i think.

That is what OH uses (washing-up is just about the only job I can get him to do!!!), though it seems to work better on some cups than others.

Baking soda and lemon juice. Leave to soak then give a good wash. Obvs the dishwasher works wonders but some China can’t go in there.

Soak in washing powder

Definitely get a tube of steradent denture cleaning tablets.Out one in the cup or if a large mug and stainin g is bad put two.Fill cup up with BOILING water, it will froth and rise to the surface of the cup, you can further top up with water if staining is near top of cup. Leave for ten minutes, empty out the solution and rinse well, then wash in ordinary washing up liquid, rubbing the stains and they should come away quite easily.

I swear by soda crystals . I went to Asda to pickup a few packets, and guess what ? They don’t stock them. Can you believe 😫 the cheapest and the most effective household cleaner !!!

I dissolve a dishwasher tablet in a jug of hot water and pour into cups.Leave a couple of hours.Works a treat.

Bicarbonate of soda, salt or diluted bleach all work well. Rinse well afterwards

I use bleach but make sure you rinse well afterwards or your innards will suffer !

Just diluted bleach. We have dishwasher so don’t tend to get stained cups.

Soda crystals. Put a small spoonful in the cup and fill with boiling water. Soak until you next do some washing up.

What you need are sponge erasers. Just damp them and they will remove the tea stains a treat. They also have may other uses and are cheap to buy. I got mine in Poundland.
