All of them!! Many have particular memories. Hey Jude, being snogged by a John Lennon lookalike in an Oxford College. Tom Jones, first kiss to Green, green grass of home, Delilah was Italy one year, Greece the next. Lots and lots of Oxford balls with Marmelade, Creedence Clearwater Revival, FourTops, Dudley Moore, Marsha Hunt and many many others. And steel bands that were all the rage. We really never had it so good. First husband recently sent me a spread sheet with all the balls and groups and had he left any out. Glad I'm not still married to him!!. But it was a good time.

Lots of 60 tunes for some reason remind me of Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, being taken on the roller coaster by my cousin who was 6 years older,who i had a secret crush on (blush)

Ooh, Casdon the Temptations were the coolest band on the planet...Ain't too proud to beg 1966, all nighters at the Twisted Wheel. Still going with all night turned into Sunday afternoons for us elderlies - tempus fugit and all that!

Loved The Animals, House of the Rising Sun. Decades later I realised they were singing about a whore house.

Oh my gosh. Just relived my teenage years singing every song as I read them. Not a bad choice amongst them. I was 10 in 1961 with an older brother who loved music too. So, the whole of the 60's were filled with the music I still love. casdon can never sit if I hear Get Ready!

Ha ha said the clown the Yardbirds. It reminds me of her going to the long counter in a record shop, there was a step leading up to it and she slightly lost her balance and did a sort of curtsey, stood up and said can I have Ha ha said the clown!

Music from the north of Britain really arrived in the 60's - the Beatles of course - but they weren't the only ones.
This decade brought a definite challenge - if not a move away - from the previously London-centric pop scene.
