Maybe, one day, all of GN can hold your hands to help you walk across the bridge.

I am so sorry I need you all as much as I do. I am very isolated . Church in this parish no longer has a priest so no community. I cannot go to the Church in town centre because if I want to go into town now I have to cross the bridge and I can't , can't even get to the library , the town starts after crossing that bridge . Just cannot cross it.

Each day will bring its new challenges anniebach and especially for you, the worry about PM results and the publicity when really it is nobody’s business except that of your close family.
Planning a beautiful and memorable tribute to your daughter and her life, will I hope, give you something to focus on which though heart breaking might prove inspirational to others and uplifting to you all.

We’re still here, annie and will be for as long as we can help. The phone was so important, so of course it’s strange now that it has much less night time significance. I’m so sorry, nothing you can do about the paper, I can only hope for sensitivity and kindness. The nights must seem very long.

Dreading Wednesday afternoon, the local weekly newspaper out, still not had PM results. Don't have to worry about phone being switched on or off , strange feeling, have slept with it on the pillow for seven years .

Thinking back to last Wednesday when I posted in a state of shock and despair, it is the kindness here which has got me through this week.

Annie your tragic news has pulled together many many gransnetters who now have you in their thoughts every day.
Some of us know just a little about you yet throughout the days we think of you and hope and pray that you are getting some respite hopefully by sleeping , and therefore resting your mind and body.

I hope you have a better night tonight, Annie, it’s awful when thoughts pop up in your mind before your eyes are even open and so hard to get back to sleep afterwards. So many folk here holding you in their thoughts and prayers, willing you to keep going and weeping for you and with you. You tried to do the very best for your much loved daughter in her life and of course you want to do the same in her death, it’s the last thing you can do for her. x

Annie, I have followed your posts for a long time. Your heart breaking news is unutterably sad. I'm sure your choice of readings will bring some consolation.I pray that

Willow, the reflux wakes me but then thoughts come in the night don't they and I do miss talking to my Westie, she use to put her head on the side and look as if she understood every word, Lottie does even stir when I make my mug of tea or go to the loo, sleeps all night.

Willow, the kindness shown to me here squashes the unkind things I have heard, I have told people I have to wish to know so do not tell me.

So many nice messages hopefully outweigh the trolls on FB who are beneath contempt. Your response to your friend and priest is totally understandable and I'm sure he's heard far worse - he sounds like he will be a rock to lean against in the coming days and weeks. The time between the arrangements being finalised and the actual funeral is a very strange period as you will know - look after yourself and ignore anything negative that you may hear.

It must be so difficult Annie. Do what you can with the weight gain diet for now. I’m sure the Cathedral will go along with your choices, can’t think why they wouldn’t. I hope the gastric reflux issues aren’t keeping you awake every night. It’s so unfair that you are always waking in the early hours. I hope you get some respite soon. I think about you every day as I’m sure all of us on here do. Keep strong Annie.
