My beloved child

I had comforting news today. My beloved child's funeral will be held at the Cathedral with full honours from the charities she worked for, the council officials, the priests who knew her throughout her life and the police who wish to acknowledge she is part of the family of the force her father served in. The last seven years has been dismissed and she is to be remember for the lovely person she was before the illness . For me this gives her back the dignity the illness took from her. She was a beautiful person and greatly loved, this is how she will be remembered .

For me, oh if only she could have been healed and still with me.

Although I don't know you, Anniebach, and know little about you, you've been on my mind a lot since I read your heartbreaking OP.

I am sure everyone on GN will indeed be holding you closer in their heart and thinking about your precious girl.

Annie we are all human and most of us are mothers too - I feel privileged to be in a position to stand with you at this time and I expect that others would say the same. Although the support we can offer is only 'virtual' I know from first-hand experience that in real life it counts for a lot.

I am just so grateful you are accepting my posts, I have to be strong for my son in law, grandchildren and younger daughter but being human I need what you are all giving me , all those I loved are no longer with me , lonely place at a time like this . You will never know what your support has done to give me the strength to cope.

Annie, what a terrible tragedy for you. I am so, so sorry to read this.

While I have every sympathy and indeed understanding of how people feel when they cannot face the future (and yes, I have been there too), I do not think this is the time or the place to do anything more than offer our support, friendship, yes, love, to a friend who is in the saddest place there is.
I do not know and would not presume to even guess at what motivates anyone to end it all and certainly not Anniebch’s DD , but as mothers we can send a strong message of support and understanding.

Serkeen I too have been in that place. Annie, I hope that it may be some comfort to you in the future that your beloved daughter is now at peace.

I cannot imagine what you are going through, loosing a child is the worst that can happen to a parent. Please accept my sincerest sympathies.

Dear Annie ur precious daughter is now in heaven with the angels and looking over u n wants u to be ok.....wen we get to the stage where we feel only one way out and we can not see any other way out I have been there and the only thing that stopped me was my belief in God and the rules of my religion so my children kept their mother because of my religious beliefs

I wished I was dead only last week because it would just be easier

wanted to give an insight of wat it feels like to want to end it all
