My daughter was, when well, a town councillor. I have just received a visit from some she worked with and a letter from the council.

They extended their condolences then this

She was a caring, kind and loving woman and we will always remember her and her sparkling eyes and her lovely, wicked smile

No apologies - post as and when you need. We are all thinking of you. Your beloved DD was ill, but wanted to tell you she loved you even in the midst of her turmoil. So many questions will be rolling around in your head, but you can hang on to the knowledge that you both loved each other. x

Hang on to the memory of that last message, annie. Many people leave this world without being able to say goodbye so despite the tragic circumstances I hope you find some comfort in knowing that your daughter loved you.

Dearest Annie, so many have said what I would also wish to say. I think it was Grannyknot who said that you are being upheld in our web of love and prayers, just be open to them all and know we are here for you when you need us to be. Thank you for sharing your daughter's message, it must be so very precious.

I phoned her support agency on Monday and Tuesday, I begged them to just tell me if her depression was very strong again so I would know what support to give her, I told them I was very fearful I would lose her, they said they couldn't tell me because of confidentiality and she was an adult, I said - yes an adult to you but she is my child.

You must have so many questions, I hope you eventually get some answer.

Oh anniebach you are in turmoil just now, you may never get answers to your questions but hold on to the knowledge that your daughter loved you. You are in my thoughts.

Annie you may never know the answer to the main questions - I don't think anyone in these circumstances ever can. The legal proceedings will be dealt with in time though. It must be so hard for you to cope with the endless thoughts you must be having but the message your daughter left clearly means she was thinking of you - I hope you find some solace in that in the coming days. There is certainly nothing to be sorry for anything on here.

Annie when you have depression this can happen at any time, even when others think you appear to be coping well.
We can never know another’s mind completely.
All her inner turmoil is now over and she is at peace.Never think that you could have prevented it, you did all that you possibly could.x

I don't know how long she was alone on the bridge before she went into the river, this is hard to live with and why have the police referred this to the police complaints commission because they had been in contact with her earlier that morning, she was classed a vulnerable person, did they fail to help her . Why has a DCI been appointed to be liaison officer , why have they postponed the PM to next Tuesday . Why didn't she come to me , too many why's

She knew you loved her and any difficulties you had were as a result of you loving her so much and wanting the best for her.

Annie Your daughter's message came from the heart. Please share with us whenever doing so is of small comfort.
