I am attending a funeral soon and have just found out that guests are requested not to wear black, but no other colour has been suggested. Now I am in a quandary. I do not want to draw attention to myself by over bright colours, and at this time of year, most of my clothing is on the dark side, so I did think of a muted pattern blouse in dark greens/navy/ cream, that I have, with light coloured cardigan and navy trousers. I have a camel coat and a grey coat so unsure which would be best? Any thoughts, anyone?

Blue, grey, camel all would be fine. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

Thank you, Maw.
I'll go with my plan, I think.

I requested no black at my DH funeral as it was to be a celebration of his life. Only one friend of my son's wore black as he hadn't been informed of my request ( slap on the knees for DS!!), Everyone wore what they would normally wear, from casual to suits. Just go with what you think is appropriate.

I go for navy with a brighter scarf.

I wore a royal blue skirt and light blue top to my aunt's funeral. Others wore darker reds, blues and all shades of neutral.

Imo everyone else will be concerned about what they are wearing and won't take any notice of what you wear. Just wear something you feel right in and stop worrying.
