Widows pension Forecast

Hi There

Just joined and wondered if anyone can advise me.

As I want to have all in place if i am first to pass away, my first thought was to obtain a state pension forcast for my wife. I have tried gov.com but find it very confusing even though I am pc literate.

I am 79 (16/7/41) and my wife 77 (23/6/43).

I did pay SERPS during my working life so I believe she receives a % of the SERPS.?

I get a percentage of my late husband's SERPS. I have no idea how much, neither do I know how much my SERPS is, though I think each is well under £10 per month.
When I got the letter telling me how much my pension would be it did not explain the breakdown and it seems impossible to find out. I certainly get less than the new full state pension.

Your wife will receive the lower state pension plus her own serps, 80% of your serps, less an amount if you or she were contracted out.
