Glennie , I’m so sorry to hear your sad news . My sister had two stillborn babies at 26 and 27 weeks. This was over 25 years ago . But we just said that they were stillborn

I am so sorry to hear this. I would maybe say that your granddaughter was born prematurely and didn't survive, which is true, but still acknowledges her loving existence.

Glennie all I can say my mom lost her first baby at 22 weeks and she never forget it . They wouldn't tell her what sex the baby one but it was in 1953. As much as she loved me and my brother there was always a hole in my parents heart . It took them 3 years to get pregnant the first time and took 5 years to have me , my brother was born 16 months after me.

You feel a mom as soon as you find out you are pregnant and your daughter will always be Linnea's mom even if she has more children.

What a beautiful name your granddaughter has. She will always be remembered by those who love her.

I look out this pic every year on the anniversary of my first baby’s birth in 1973 and I still shed a tear.. Our only boy, he lived only 24 days but of course he was mine for the 9 months before he was born.
Sincere condolences - I do know how you must feel, one of our D’s “lost” her first much wanted baby at 14 weeks of pregnancy.
Whether a baby makes it to term, is still born or sudden infant death or for whatever reason, we still mourn that little life.
I think Bluebelle has put it so well.

I’m so sorry. Maybe give the ages of those who are living and say I also have a granddaughter Linnea who was born asleep in x year? I pray you will all find comfort. 💐

Just say what happened
She’s my fifth grandchild and always will be, but she didnt survive beyond 20 weeks however she will always be remembered and loved by us all
