I bought 2 copies of this book. There is a beautiful hardback book which I believe shows every panel but this book, by Susan Mansfield and Alistair Moffat, is the making of the tapestry. One copy is a Christmas present for a friend, a Scottish needlewoman herself and the other copy is my treat to me. I wondered is any gransnetters worked on the tapestry? I've seen parts of the Quaker tapestry when it was 'on tour' here and would love to see this one.
Hi Stansgran yes the Quaker tapestry is in Kendal but a few years ago some of it's panels were on show at Norwich Cathedral which is where I saw them. The Scottish tapestry is in the Scottish Parliament.
