Tegan, it's worth seeing La Dame et la Licorne tapestry in the Musée de Cluny. I've been a couple of times and wouldn't mind seeing it again. But don't go on a Tuesday. My sister and I strolled up there two years ago and found it closed. So confusing, it usually seems that everything that's going to close does so on a Monday which is why we hadn't gone there on the Monday!

She has done her historical research well and I agree it is a good read. The Quaker aspect was particularly interesting and the quilting "detail". Not great literature perhaps, but an entertaining read.

I couldn't put The Lady and the Unicorn down; wanted to go straight to Paris to see the tapestries when I'd finished it.

Thanks for reminding me. I read a review of it a while back and it sounded very good; then I forgot all about it. I've loved her other books [apart from Burning Bright which i couldn't get into although I need to give it another go].

Finished reading it last night! Never read any Tracey Chevalier before and was pleasantly surprised.
