For the 200 winners...your books will be arriving very shortly (they're from us in case you were wondering how they ended up on your door mat!)

So please read, enjoy (hopefully), and add your comments and any questions for Mark Lawson. We will be sending them over to him at the end of the month (July)

Just received the book, was so exciting that the postman had something for me as it is usually for my husband who seems to spend his time buying books on amazon and trying to turn our house into a book depository!

Looks interesting, thank you gransnet.

What a surprise to answer a knock on the door to be greeted by a delivery of the book The Deaths by Mark Lawson. Being of not so sound mind sometimes, it took me a while to make the connection to Gransnet and the free give away which I had entered. Having read the back cover I so look forward to reading this novel and which I anticipate could be so true to life as it is! Thanks so very much.

My copy arrived to-day and looking at the back cover it looks a good read, how the other half lives springs to mind but lets wait and see,the delivery man wasn't too bad either grin

Deedaa Mon 07-Jul-14 22:47:45

My copy arrived today. I had a quick skim through and I think I shall really enjoy it!

Rosannie Mon 07-Jul-14 19:18:27

I thought the only way to win a copy of the wonderful books offered on gransnet is to apply for one by submitting one's details. I therefore can't understand those who complain that they have no idea where a lovely free book arriving in the post can be from.
We may all be of a certain age but surely there can't be so many with short term memory loss! To complain about receiving an anonymous freebie seems very ungrateful.

keriku Mon 07-Jul-14 19:03:14

I received a copy of this today, I assume it was from gransnet. I wish the suppliers would enclose a note reminding folk to post a review as I am sure some folk will have no idea where the book is from! Looking forward to reading it soon! Thanks gransnet!

I'm looking forward to reading Mark Lawson 's book, it arrived today. I haven't read any of his novels before but I have listened to him often on his radio programme reviewing the arts. Thank you for this opportunity to review his work !
