Thanks Anno- we will be going to that part of Sicily in April- because of Montalbano! Not too bothered about the hero- but the scenery is just so wonderful. Will be staying in Syracuse for a few days, then a villa (with sil and bil) in the hills near Ragusa- then a few days further up the coast. Can't wait.
