Downloaded it as an ebook today, free from the library, straight to my ipad.
That is a first for me - not done that before.
You need an app called overdrive, and off you go! So I'm pleased.
Will let you know what I think of the book. It will be an easy read as weather too hot for serious brain taxing stuff.

It's quite interesting what's being released from secret papers now.
Apparently Thatcher thought that Geldof was propping up a cruel government, even though she was quite happy to be photographed with him on Live Aid.

Did you see The Audience mrsmopp - it was a National Theatre production streamed live into cinema's. Helen Mirren (who else) played the Queen. It focussed on her relationships with various PMs during her reign. The suggestion there, and elsewhere, is she loathed Mrs T and liked Harold Wilson. Who knew smile

A new book reveals that these two women disliked each other intensely right from the word go. I had no idea at the time. I wonder if its true. The book is on order from the library. Can't wait to read it.
